A reported 35 billion: A reported 35 billion euros worth of gold set to be looted from Europes bunkers during World War Two was never found, and now the bunkers, which were defended by only 1 to 2 percent of the German and French armies, lie abandoned and ignored under Europes streets. There were 1,200 bunkers near the borders of France and Germany, but only around 1,100 were occupied during the war and their defenses were never fully tested.
