The abandoned IGA Cold

The abandoned IGA Cold: The abandoned IGA Cold War Nuclear Bunker is situated in the middle of rural Brandenburg, north-east of Berlin. It was built in 1969 and is now showing its age. The bunker was designed as a place to store weapons and ammunition and as a so-called nuclear village and as such was used as a safe haven for civilians during a possible nuclear attack. The bunker was abandoned in 1993 due to changing Cold War politics and the fall of the Berlin Wall.
