From the beach: From the beach, the shattered stones of an Atlantic wall rise up adorned with faded vestiges of a swastika hidden under a coat of light green paint. At first glance, these walls remain brittle and overrun with vegetation, a reminder of the Great Wars destruction. The closer you walk to it, the more the history becomes apparent.
